Questions & answers about Salsa on the Beach
Registration is only possible online via the booking menu item on our website. Once you have registered, you will immediately receive a summary of your order. The invoice will be sent to you within a few days in the form of another e-mail.
To help you find your way around our new ticket shop quickly and to ensure that your booking is complete and secure, we explain the new registration process step by step in our booking guide.
Basically: ‘The earlier - the better!’ Firstly, you will benefit from our discounted prices for early bookers and secondly, by registering early you will secure your place at ‘Salsa on the Beach’. Demand has risen enormously in recent years and although we have a very large contingent of rooms in the hotel again, there is not unlimited capacity this time either. So - register in good time!
In order to ensure a smooth and quick check-in on site, we require all participants to provide their name, full address, date of birth, place of birth, passport number and date of issue at the time of booking! This measure will also ensure that you receive your room and passport (control wristband) without a long wait.
All tickets for your order are automatically generated after online booking and sent to all participants (in your room) as a PDF.
If you or one of the other participants in your room has not received an email with your ticket, this may be due to a typing error in your email address or the number of people in the last booking step (participant details) does not match the number of tickets booked/purchased. In both cases, please contact us immediately via shop@salsaonthebeach.at
The payment status ‘free of charge’ (on the ticket) is only due to the fact that you will receive an invoice with the total price and therefore has no meaning!
The ticket must be printed out or brought digitally (on your mobile phone) to the event! The most important thing is the QR code printed on the ticket, as you can use this to check in to the event on site.
IMPORTANT: We do NOT send payment confirmations - but we will certainly contact you if we do not receive a payment ;-)
It's best to wait a few minutes. If you still haven't received an email within the next half hour, check your spam folder or contact us at shop@salsaonthebeach.at
If you have booked tickets for Salsa on the Beach or purchased them in the online shop, you will receive a confirmation email with the ‘Summary of your order’. You will find your 5-digit order number in the top left-hand corner of this email. This must be entered in the last order step (participant details)!
For each booking, the first participant/registrant is also the invoice recipient and will receive an invoice by e-mail within a few days of booking. The total amount of the invoice must then be transferred within 7 days without deduction to the account stated on the invoice. Payment by instalments, credit card or PayPal is not possible!
IMPORTANT: We do NOT send payment confirmations - but we will certainly contact you if we do not receive a payment ;-)
‘Salsa on the Beach’ is an event where (almost) everything is included in the package price. From the hotel room and full board to the workshops and parties as well as various non-alcoholic drinks in the dining room at mealtimes! The catering starts with dinner on the day of arrival. If you would like to have lunch at the hotel on this day, this must be reported and paid for directly at the hotel reception! You can find the exact scope of services here.
All participants must make their own travel arrangements. Here are a few tips: If you are coming by plane, Venice (airports: Marco Polo or Treviso) is the closest airport. Cheap flights from many European cities are available, for example, at www.easyjet.com, www.eurowings.com, www.ryanair.com and others. Alternatively, you can travel to Venice by bus (e.g. www.flixbus.de ). If you are traveling by train, Latisana is the closest train station to Bibione.
There is public transport from Venice airport to Bibione (although the connections are not ideal). Here are a few helpful links: ATVO , Rome2Rio . A transfer can also be booked in advance - e.g. with FoxTransfer.
A good and inexpensive alternative is a rental car. Ideally, you should book this in advance - for example on MietwagenCheck. You can find further valuable information about booking a rental car in Italy (traffic rules, terms in road traffic, checklist, etc.) on the ÖAMTC website. You can park the rental car or your private car, if you come directly to Bibione by car, in the hotel's underground car park for free.
An extension at the Bibione Palace Spa Hotel is of course possible. If you would like to book one or more extra nights before and/or after the event, please select these directly when booking. If you book through us, you will receive more favourable prices than at the hotel directly!
Of course this is also possible! If someone wants to accompany you but not take part in the workshops, you only need to select the "without workshops" package when you make your booking. The accompanying person will then receive a reduced price (see prices), which includes accommodation, full board, the parties and the shows. However, no workshops may be attended! Spectators are not permitted at the workshops!
We are happy to introduce gentlemen and ladies travelling alone to each other at the event. Naturally, however, we cannot guarantee a dance partner, especially as we never know in advance whether there will be more ladies or gentlemen travelling alone! At Salsa on the Beach, however, there are also workshops (e.g. footwork or styling) for which no partner is necessary.
Unfortunately, the hotel does not provide a wooden dance floor and having one transported and laid especially for the event in Bibione would increase the costs and thus the participation fee for each individual extremely. Depending on where the workshops are held (outdoors or in the hotel) you will find either stone, PVC or tiled floors.
This depends primarily on the participating instructors. Every year we try to put together a varied line-up and workshop program for you, with the main focus at Salsa on the Beach being Salsa Cubana, Rueda de Casino and Bachata. However, there are usually also some workshops for Salsa LA Style, Foot Work, Cha-Cha-Cha and others in the program.
You will find a detailed workshop schedule for the upcoming event approximately 4-6 weeks before the start of the event under the menu item "Workshops".
It is not necessary or possible to register for the individual workshops in advance. Simply select the courses you would like to attend on site, according to your wishes.
The workshop schedule is partly created based on the participant registrations in the different levels and is therefore available online approx. 4 weeks before the start of the event.
Depending on when you cancel Salsa on the Beach or your booking, corresponding cancellation fees will apply. These can be found in the terms and conditions. To avoid incurring costs in the event of cancellation for health reasons, we strongly recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance (at the same time as you make your booking!). You can obtain information on this from your insurance advisor, travel agencies or online from various insurance companies! Please understand that any cancellation fees incurred by us as the organiser will be charged in any case and that we are naturally unable to cover these costs for customers!
There is a very simple reason for this. We simply want to show all those who have not yet been to Salsa on the Beach what they can expect there. The event photos or film recordings are not about perfect ‘poses’, but simply about the general atmosphere, the locations and so on. Please understand that a photographer and/or cameraman will occasionally drop by at the workshops and parties. If you do not wish to be photographed/filmed, we kindly ask you to simply step out of the picture. Thank you very much!
