FAQs - questions and answers

1. How can I register for “Salsa on the Beach”?Registration is only possible online via the Booking menu item on our website. After your registration, you will immediately receive a summary of your order. The invoice will be sent to you within a few days in the form of another e-mail. To help you quickly find your way around our new ticket shop and to ensure that your booking is transmitted completely and securely, we explain the new registration process step by step in our booking guide.
-
2. When should I register?Basically, the earlier the better! So you can enjoy the discounted rates for early birds and you secure your spot at “Salsa on the Beach” when you register early. The demand has risen a lot in the past years and although we have a big contingent of rooms in the hotel again, capacity is not unlimited. Therefore – register as soon as possible!
-
3. Why all the data when registering? To guarantee a smooth and fast check-in at the location we need to know details also the date of birth, place of birth as well as passport number and place of issue aside from a participant’s name and complete address. This guarantees that you get your room and entry pass (control bracelet) without long waiting time.
-
4. When will I receive my ticket and what does the status mean? All tickets of your order are automatically generated after online registration and sent to all participants (of your room) as a PDF. If you or one of the other participants in your room did not receive an e-mail with your ticket, this may either be due to a typing error in your e-mail address or the number of persons in the last registration step (participant data) does not match the number of tickets booked/purchased. In both cases, please contact us immediately at shop@salsaonthebeach.at The payment status "free of charge" (on the ticket) only results from the fact that you will receive an invoice with the total price and therefore has no meaning! The ticket must be printed out or brought to the event digitally (on your mobile phone)! The most important thing is the QR code printed on the ticket, because you can use it to check in at the event. IMPORTANT: We do NOT send payment confirmations - but we will certainly contact you if we do not receive a payment ;-)
-
5. What should I do if I have not received an email after my ticket purchase? It's best to wait a few minutes. If you still haven't received an email within the next half hour, please check your Spam folder or contact us at shop@salsaonthebeach.at
-
6. Where can I find my order number? If you have booked tickets for Salsa on the Beach or bought them in the online shop, you will receive a confirmation email with the "Summary of your order". In this email you will find your 5-digit order number in the top left-hand corner. This number must be entered in the last order step (participant data)!
-
7. How and when to pay for Salsa on the Beach? For each booking, the first participant/registrant is also the invoice recipient and will receive an invoice by e-mail within a few days of booking. The total amount of the invoice is then to be transferred within 7 days without deduction to the account stated on the invoice. Partial payments and payments by credit card or PayPal are not possible! IMPORTANT: We do NOT send payment confirmations - but will certainly contact you if we do not receive a payment ;-)

8. What is included?“Salsa on the Beach” is an event where (nearly) everything is included. From the hotel room and full board to the workshops and parties, as well as various non-alcoholic drinks in the dining room at mealtimes! Catering begins with dinner on the day of arrival. If you would like to have lunch at the hotel on that day, you have to report and pay for this directly at the hotel reception! For further details please visit our website under Tickets.

9. How to get to Salsa on the beach?Travel to the Polecamp takes place for all participants on their own. Here are some tips for you: If you come by plane, Venice (airports: Marco Polo or Treviso) is the closest airport. Cheap flights from many European cities are available at www.easyjet.com, www.eurowings.com, www.ryanair.com and others. Alternatively you can take the bus to Venice (e.g. www.flixbus.de). If you arrive by train, Latisana is the nearest train station to Bibione. From Venice airport (Marco Polo) there is public transport to Bibione (even if the connections are not the best). Here are some helpful links: ATVO, Rome2Rio. A transfer can also be booked in advance - e.g. with FoxTransfer. Another cheap alternative from the airport to the hotel is a rental car. We recommend to book a car in advance - for example on Driveboo or Check24. If you come directly to Bibione by car, you can park your rental car or your private car free of charge in the hotel underground car park.
-
10. Can I extend my stay in Bibione? You can, of course, extend your stay at the Bibione Palace Hotel. If you would like to book one or more additional nights before and/or after the event, please select these directly when registering. If you book via us you will get additional nights for a lower rate than the hotel would charge.
-
11. Can I also bring an accompanying person (without workshops)?Of course! If someone would like to accompany you, but not take part in the workshops, you only need to select the Accompanying person package directly when booking. Your partner will get a reduced price (see prices) which includes the accomadation, food and the parties as well as the shows. No workshops may be visited! No Spectators allowed during the workshops!
-
12. Are there workshops for beginners?Based on previous experience and the low demand for beginner workshops we do not offer them! But there are some workshops marked "FOR ALL", which are also suitable for beginners.
-
13. What should I do if I don't have a dance partner? We are happy to introduce gentlemen and ladies travelling alone to each other on site at the event. Of course, we cannot guarantee a dance partner, especially as we never know in advance whether more ladies or gentlemen will be attending alone! At Salsa on the Beach there are also workshops in between (e.g. footwork or styling) for which no partner is necessary.
-
14. Which floors does the hotel have (for dancing)?Unfortunately, the hotel is not furnished with wooden dance floors. To have that transported to Bibione and installed would bow up the costs for the individual participant. Depending on where the workshops are held (open-air or inside) there will be stone, vinyl or tile floors.
-
15. Can I take my own drinks to the party? No! Because it is not an apartment complex but a first-class hotel you are not allowed to take your own drinks to the parties, no exceptions! We ask you to honour this request made by the hotel unconditionally!
-
16. When will the workshop schedule be online? This is built in part on the basis of subscriber registrations in the different levels and therefore we present you the schedule approximately 4 weeks before the Event starts.
-
17. What happens in the event that I have to cancel?Depending on when you cancel your Registration, you have to pay a cancellation fee, which you´ll find under Terms and Conditions. To avoid that you have to pay those fees on your own when you have to cancel due to reasons of health, we strongly recommend a cancellation insurance (completed at the time of registration). For more information ask your insurance advisor, travel agency or check out online at various insurance companies! Please understand that we, as the organiser, will claim any cancellation fees that may arise in any case and that we naturally cannot assume these costs for our customers!
-
18. Why is the organizer taking pictures and/or filming? This has a very simple reason. We just want to show all Sensual fans what awaits them at Salsa on the Beach. The goal is not to make pictures or film perfect tricks, but simply to show the general mood, the locations etc. We request for your understanding that therefore it´s nessecary that our photographer and/or cameraman will have a look at the workshops and parties to document the event. If do do not want to be on pictures/videos we kindly ask you to simply leave the spot for this short time.
-
19. What is the weather like in Bibione in May?Well, of course we can't see into the future or ask the crystal ball ;-) But ... the last few years we have had mostly nice weather. With temperatures between 20° and 25° and sunshine, most of our workshops could be held outdoors.
-
20. Why have the prices increased?Salsa on the Beach has kept prices unchanged from 2017 to 2022 and has not even adjusted the increase due to inflation for over 5 years. However, due to the general increase in purchase prices (hotel, staff, electricity, etc.), we are now unfortunately forced to include a part of the increase in our prices. Nevertheless, Salsa on the Beach still offers probably the best price/performance ratio of comparable events!
